The U.S. will stop issuing worker visas for commercial truck drivers, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Thursday.

The US State Department is pausing the issuing of work visas for foreigners looking to become commercial truck drivers in the United States, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Thursday.

In Oregon, more than 325 new truck drivers received free CDL training programs thanks to a $3.4 million federal grant. Notably, all program participants have already secured employment opportunities.
