PAWLET, Vt. — Police on Friday arrested a 23-year-old man with a history of mental health issues in the shooting deaths of his father, stepmother, and stepbrother, a crime that has badly shaken this small town in western Vermont.

A man was arrested after allegedly killing his father, stepmom and her teen son inside their Vermont home earlier this week — then calling cops to report the grisly crime, authorities said. Brian Crossman Jr.

Brian Crossman Jr., 23, of Granville, New York, faces three counts of aggravated murder in the fatal shootings of his father, stepmother and stepbrother on Sept. 15.
