The Minnesota State Fair's grandstand will light up on August 31st with Tommy James and the Shondells, plus Peter Noone from Hermans Hermits, bringing classic rock hits to the stage.

The concert takes place on the first Monday of the State Fair, a night when ’60s pop stars are typically booked.

The fair kickoff event takes place May 22 to 25 with nearly 40 food and drink vendors, prizes and other activities ahead of the State Fair.
