Neighbors recognized in Lorenzo Salgado Araujo the kind of life generations of families had worked to build in Magnolia Park.
Houston protesters call on feds to release more information, and witnesses, to Tuesday’s ICE killing
Protesters demanded feds release footage of the shooting and the three men who were in the van with Lorenzo Salgado Araujo before he was killed.
"They control the scene, the deceased, the van, the witnesses. So yes, they control the investigation,” mayor of Houston said.
Three men who were in the vehicle alongside Lorenzo Salgado Araujo are contesting the Department of Homeland Security's account of the fatal shooting.
The agency said a Mexican immigrant driving a van tried to ram agents before they shot him dead. A lawyer for three passengers said that was untrue.
Some have already revealed major career moves, while others remain quiet.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Tuesdays, it stays open until 8 p.m., when entry is free from 5 to 8 p.m. Keep in mind other parts of the museum like the planetarium and the Wortham Giant Screen Theatre operate different hours.
