Update: SpaceX said in a post on X that it was standing down from Sunday night's test flight to troubleshoot a ground systems issue. A new date for the test flight was not immediately shared.
The new generation heavy-lift launch vehicle "Starship" from SpaceX finally took off from its launch base in Texas on the evening of the 26th, Central Time, after multiple delays, executing its highly anticipated tenth test flight mission.
The first of two uncrewed fighter prototypes being evaluated by the US Air Force notched its maiden sortie, with the competing design set to log a similar milestone in the coming days.
