LINCOLN — For the second straight year, Nebraska football is going bowling. The Huskers clinched bowl eligibility with Saturday’s 28-21 win over Northwestern, where a late fourth-quarter scoring drive was needed to put away the Wildcats.

The Wildcats' defense ranks 21st in the nation, surrendering just over 305 yards per game, and is 11th in the country in scoring defense, allowing just over 15 points per game.
