Arsenal had to be patient but eventually the Gunners thrashed Atletico Madrid with four goals in 13 minutes and a 4-0 victory in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

Arsenal moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League as Leandro Trossard's goal from a corner clinched a hard-fought win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Manchester United won at Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid defeated Paris Saint-Germain to both move on to six points, while Arsenal and Bayern bounced back from opening losses.

Alan Shearer was left seriously impressed by what one Arsenal player did against Atletico Madrid. It was a strong night for Mikel Arteta’s side, who hit four goals past the Spanish club.
