The wreckage from a Pan Am plane crash in the ocean 74 years ago that helped lead to requirements for the passenger safety briefings on every flight today has been found off the coast of Puerto Rico.

A 66-year-old pilot who was rescued by local boaters after his plane crashed in Lake Seymour will have to pay to recover the vehicle. The pilot, James Gregory of East Burke, crashed in Lake Seymour in the town of Morgan on Monday morning.
