A St. Louis-area businessman is proposing an indoor sports facility at the abandoned site of a former bowling alley.

Firefighters with the North County Fire & Rescue Fire Protection District responded to a three-alarm fire late Tuesday morning at the site of an old bowling ball plant in Jennings.

A fire broke out early Thursday morning at the abandoned Visionary Bowling Products building at 8709 Xograph Ave. in Jennings.

Federal charges have been filed against the owner of a former bowling ball factory that caught fire in fall 2019.
