The House is expected to turn to the Trump-backed GOP agenda bill today after the Senate narrowly passed the sweeping domestic policy package yesterday following a marathon overnight session that spanned more than 24 hours and saw votes on dozens of amendments.

Israel has previously accepted versions of a proposal put forward by Steve Witkoff, the White House special envoy, which calls for a roughly two-month cease-fire and the release of about half the living hostages, along with the remains of some others. Talks for a permanent cease-fire would take place during that period.

The House has returned to Washington to vote on Senate changes to Trump's legislative package of tax cuts and Medicaid changes.
