Officials in Gloucester County say they have launched a criminal investigation after an intense fire -- which, neighbors called an explosion -- killed two people in Washington Township, New Jersey.
UPDATE: WCAU-TV reports the bodies of two people, a man and a woman, were removed from the home. NBC 10 is also reporting that the fire is being investigated as an "intense fire," not an "explosion," per police. A house apparently exploded overnight in Gloucester County.
