Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes says they are yet to receive a bid from Arsenal for defender Piero Hincapie - and the German club are determined to keep hold of him this summer. Arsenal are interested in signing Hincapie before Monday’s transfer deadline, if Jakub Kiwior leaves the club.

Arsenal are targeting Hincapie as a long-term replacement for Jakub Kiwior, who is on the cusp of a move to Porto. It’s understood the overall deal will cost Porto around £23m, with the Poland defender to join the Primeira Liga outfit on loan before completing a permanent transfer next summer.
