The Seattle Seahawks have beaten the Houston Texans 27-19 to cap tonight’s “Monday Night Football” doubleheader. The Seahawks led wire-to-wire despite losing the turnover battle 4-1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had the standout performance with eight catches for 123 yards and one touchdown.

The play that led to the moment came in the fourth quarter. Following an interception, Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba tried to make a tackle on Texans cornerback Derek Stingley. As Smith-Njigba went to make the play, Stingley stiff-armed the Seahawks receiver, knocking his helmet off.

The Texans couldn't run or throw the ball effectively. The offensive line somehow looks worse than it did last season. The ballyhooed offensive system installed in the offseason seems worse than "Ask Madden"-the algorithm-based option to decide which play to run next in the iconic Madden NFL video game.

C.J. Stroud did not have a good enough performance in Week 7, and he has been made well aware in no uncertain terms.
