Prime Minister Modi in his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor said while Pakistan pleaded with India to stop the military offensive, New Delhi considered it only after they promised to stop their misadventure.

Calling the Pahalgam terror attack a personal tragedy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday dedicated the bravery and courage of the armed forces involved in Operation Sindoor to every mother, sister and daughter of the nation.

Hours after the Indian Armed Forces launched operation Sindoor which struck nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) in early Wednesday hours, the family members of Pahalgam attack have been applauding the armed forces' efforts.
