Law enforcement officers and community leaders are asking for the public's help in identifying people wanted for questioning about a mass shooting in Leland, Mississippi, that left six people dead.
The Mississippi Supreme Court denied Martez Abram's motion for rehearing on Thursday morning. Abram was convicted of the July 2019 deadly shooting at the Walmart in Southaven. Abrams had reportedly been suspended from the store after showing a knife to a coworker during an argument.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has made an arrest in the weekend shooting at Alcorn State University that left one person dead and two others injured.
The shooting came as people celebrated homecoming weekend in downtown Leland shortly after a high school football game.
The FBI released photos Sunday of four suspects in the shooting that left six people dead at a high school homecoming event in Mississippi. Another 10 victims were wounded in shooting in Leland, which is now the deadliest mass shooting in the U.S. this year.
