The preseason has concluded and the Seattle Seahawks have made their first big roster move. Early on Tuesday morning it was reported that the Seahawks were trading second-year offensive tackle Michael Jerrell to the Atlanta Falcons. In exchange for Jerrell, Seattle will be receiving a conditional seventh round pick.

The Atlanta Falcons have added offensive tackle depth by acquiring Michael Jerrell from the Seattle Seahawks for a conditional 2027 seventh-round pick.

The Falcons have traded a conditional 2027 seventh round pick, which is about as little as you can possibly trade, to the Seattle Seahawks for tackle Michael Jerrell. The 26-year-old has appeared in six NFL games, all of them in 2024, and logged 250 snaps, with almost all of those coming at right tackle.
