The Ole Miss Rebels blew out the Duke Blue Devils 52-20 in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 2. Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin, who felt snubbed by the College Football Playoff committee, wanted send a strong message during their final game of the season.

Lane Kiffin briefly paused Gator Bowl prep Thursday to respond to an interesting proposition from a fan on X. Hours before kickoff against Duke, X user Sgt Blackout floated a bet to the Ole Miss coach that involved his daughter.

Lane Kiffin never takes a day off from trolling. He proved that to be the case during the Gator Bowl on Thursday night between Duke and Ole Miss. Prior to the start of the fourth quarter, ESPN's Taylor McGregor interviewed Kiffin on the sideline.

Now that we have considered the source, we have to at least acknowledge the stunning possibility for the Ole Miss Rebels that Lane Kiffin hinted at both in his post-game interview and late night on social media.

Lane Kiffin is a polarizing figure in the world of college football. He did little to change that reputation during Ole Miss' blowout Gator Bowl win vs. Duke.
