North Andover, Massachusetts police officer Kelsey Fitzsimmons is in stable condition, a day after she was shot​ by a fellow officer as she was served with a restraining order.

An off-duty Massachusetts police officer was shot and wounded in a confrontation with a fellow cop who was trying to serve her with an abuse prevention restraining order.

At the time of the incident, she was on administrative leave and had submitted a request to have her department-issued weapon returned.
