It was never pretty, but the Denver Broncos escaped Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London with a 13-11 victory over the New York Jets in Sunday's AFC showdown.
Jets quarterback Justin Fields was abysmal. He completed 9 of 17 passes for 45 yards and was sacked nine times, many of them on him for not getting the ball out quickly. The Jets looked scared to let him throw the ball for long periods of the game.
New York's offense as an epic disaster on Sunday in London, with the "passing" game in particular stinking up the joint. Fields dropped back to pass 29 times but only actually attempted 17 passes, because he was sacked NINE times and scrambled a few more.
