Jeremy Allen White and Jeremy Strong open up to USA TODAY about playing friends Bruce Springsteen and Jon Landau in "Deliver Me From Nowhere."

Based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book of the same name, Deliver Me From Nowhere follows a wayward Springsteen as he comes to terms with his past, present, and future while crafting his 1982 album, Nebraska. The film also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, and Odessa Young.

Stephen Graham plays Springsteen’s troubled father; Jeremy Strong is Springsteen’s loyal manager, Jon Landau; and Odessa Young appears as a composite girlfriend character. Springsteen has said that he was especially touched by the performances of Graham and White.

Deliver Me from Nowhere and talks about what it was like having Jon Landau and Bruce Springsteen on set. He reveals how having them there was only “additive” to his and Jeremy Allen White’s performance.
