Seattle Seahawks rookie Jalen Milroe is entering the 2025 season as the third-string quarterback behind Sam Darnold and Drew Lock. However, according to coach Mike Macdonald, there appears to be a plan in place for the former Alabama star to get on the field in certain situations.

The Seattle Seahawks are already working on a package of plays for Jalen Milroe despite the rookie's place behind Sam Darnold and Drew Lock on the quarterback depth chart.

Jalen Milroe will officially serve as the backup quarterback in Seattle. Sam Darnold, who was signed to a big deal this offseason, comes in as the Seahawks’ starter. Even so, head coach Mike Macdonald is looking for a way to get Milroe on the field during regular season games.
