Illinois AG Raoul files a lawsuit against Deere & Company over alleged restrictive repair practices for farm equipment.

MINNESOTA, USA — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison sued agricultural manufacturer John Deere Wednesday, alleging it has used unfair practices to drive up equipment repair costs for farmers.

Illinois is taking farming equipment powerhouse Deere & Co. to court, claiming unfair practices by the business are causing farmers to have to pay more.

According to the lawsuit, for decades, Deere has limited the ability of farmers and independent repair technicians to repair Deere equipment.
