At 83 years old, Harrison Ford just marked a first in his long-running career. The actor has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the 2025 Emmy Awards, which is his first-ever Emmy nomination.

Harrison Ford’s accolades are growing. The actor, 83, has been nominated for his first-ever Emmy Award for his role as senior therapist Dr. Paul Rhoades in “Shrinking.”
Television, it turns out, is geeky as hell. That seemed to be the major takeaway as the 77th annual Emmy Award nominations were announced Tuesday, with Severance leading all nominees with 27 total, HBO’s The Penguin coming in second with 24, The Last of Us in fifth with 16, and Andor coming in sixth with 14, including Outstanding Drama Series.

I first want to say congratulations to all the 2025 Emmy nominees. I have quite possibly written something nice about most of you, and nothing (too) bad about any of you, and to those I never mentioned at all,
HBO Max also did very well on Emmys morning. Between The White Lotus, The Penguin, The Last of Us and Hacks, HBO Max picked up 142 nominations. There were plenty of surprises, especially for Hulu 's Paradise and the Apple TV+ limited series Presumed Innocent.
Brunson is also up for a writing prize while this is a first Emmy nod for Ford, at the tender age of 83. The Studio, The Bear, Abbott Elementary and Shrinking are among the contenders for best comedy series.
