U.S. Ambassador to France Charles Kushner wrote an open letter asking French President Emmanuel Macron to tone down his criticism of Israel.

France has summoned the American ambassador over a letter alleging the country did not do enough to combat antisemitism.

Israel denied there was starvation in the territory and labelled the report an "outright lie". France says it will summon the US ambassador to Paris, Charles Kushner, over what it says are unacceptable allegations of failing to tackle a surge in antisemitism.
