FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) issued a release alerting the public of a phone scam. FSPD said a resident got a phone call from someone pretending to be Chief Danny Baker. The scammer allegedly told the victim they had "missed a grand jury trial." Additionally, the scammer confirmed the victim's address and phone number.
