The body of a man who had been missing since Dec. 19 after El Paso County deputies responded to a home and found a large amount of blood has been located in a wooded area outside of the county, the sheriff's office said Friday.

Colorado court records showed that homicide cases had been filed in Park County, CO for both Johnny Morris and Hailey Cole.

On Wednesday, Jan. 1 the El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR) held its annual run to raise money for its search, rescue, and mountain safety efforts. 2025 is the 47th year for the rescue run which started in 1979.
