Police found a 16-year-old boy at a playground with a gunshot wound to his head. The teen was taken to a hospital where he later died.

A teenager was fatally shot Saturday evening at a park on Detroit's west side, the latest in a series of shootings involving minors this summer. At approximately 8:15 p.m., a 16-year-old was found unresponsive from a gunshot wound to the head at Butzel playground on the 14800 block of Monte Vista Street, Detroit police said in a release.
