The Broncos lead the all-time series against the Jets 23-18-1, including a 10-9 win on the road in their most recent showdown in 2024. Going up against the NFL's last remaining winless team, Denver is considered a big favorite in Week 6.
Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos traveled to London for a football game on Sunday vs. the New York Jets. The quarterback and his wife Izzy Nix shared some big news beforehand announcing they are expecting their first child. Izzy attended the game and certainly was glowing with the other WAGs.
There was no mistaking this, a second-year quarterback who looked — even in the rough moments — like a kid in a London sweets shop.
However, Broncos fans clearly traveled better than Jets fans, who are still waiting to see their team win a game this season. A total of 61,155 NFL fans showed up at the Spurs' stadium on Sunday, and it appeared that a large majority if them were backing the team from Denver.
The Broncos took care of business abroad, and it's good they did; the Los Angeles Chargers won a close one vs. the Miami Dolphins, retaining the lead in the AFC West. However, NFL.com likes the Broncos' chances at making the playoffs better than the Chargers'.
The Jets have just 32 total yards of offense heading into halftime, including two net passing yards for Justin Fields after losing 15 yards on four sacks. Star receiver Garrett Wilson was visibly frustrated with Glenn walking toward the tunnel. What else can go wrong? The Broncos have a 10-6 lead over the Jets.
Sean Payton is known for his great offenses. But after another big day on the other side of the ball, he knows Denver has a defensive personality.
