Not much went right for the Hoosiers over the following 14 months. They went a combined 4-17 over the balance of 2022 plus last year, leading the school to fire Tom Allen (with a $15.5 million buyout as a going-away present) and hire Curt Cignetti away from James Madison to try to vault Indiana into contention in the supersized Big Ten.
