The Celtics are adding former Suns two-way player Jalen Bridges on a training camp deal. The 6-foot-8 forward rookie will also join Boston’s Summer League team in Las Vegas according to Jay King of the Athletic.

Boston is getting a 22-year-old, 6-foot-8 swingman weighing in at 205 lbs. who put up 2.6 points and 1.0 rebounds per game with Minnesota last season.

Al Horford is yet to make a decision on his future. The veteran big man is still an unrestricted free agent. Recent reports have linked him with a potential move to a contending roster, with both the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers viewed as front-runners.

The sure-fire Hall of Famer is a free agent for the first time in his career, and the Celtics have a midlevel exception slot that could fit him nicely.

Of course, there are important caveats in the potential plans for both the Celtics and Lillard. From the player’s perspective, Lillard is — like Celtics star Jayson Tatum — currently rehabbing a ruptured Achilles tendon (sustained during a first-round playoff series in April).
