CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Cavaliers took Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup against the Indiana Pacers on the road. A big loss in Game 4, however, brings the series back to Cleveland with the Cavs on the brink of elimination trailing 3-1 in the series.
The East's top seed is on the brink of elimination. The Indiana Pacers blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers, 129-109, in Sunday's Game 4 to take a 3-1 lead in the second-round playoff series. The Cavs won 64 games in the regular season but are now one loss away from going home.
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is expected to be a game-time decision for Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers. Mitchell received an MRI that revealed he reaggravated a previous left ankle injury during the 129-109 loss in Game 4. He is averaging 34 points, five rebounds, and four assists through four games.
