Jesús Sánchez was excellent to watch in the opener against the Orioles. He stepped up to bat five times and was perfect on the day, going 5-for-5 with four singles, a double, an RBI and a run scored. Hopefully that gets the outfielder going since it's been a struggle for him since coming to the Astros.

After stealing second and third, he came around to score on another single, this time from Ryan Mountcastle, putting the O’s up 2-1 and knocking Astros starter Spencer Arrighetti out of the game. They added on another run in the seventh with a solo-shot from Luis Vázquez.

Every outing Abreu makes, still, is magnified. The Astros are missing closer Josh Hader and set-up man Bennett Sousa to injuries. Bryan King is their only other healthy reliever who has regularly drawn high-leverage outings this season. Abreu has all three of their saves since Hader landed on the IL.
