Kilmar Abrego Garcia was allegedly beaten and psychologically tortured during his time at CECOT, according to new court filings – reigniting a closely watched case playing out in two U.S. courts.

His mistaken deportation became a flashpoint in tensions over the Trump Administration’s hardline immigration policy.

At the notorious CECOT prison, he was forced to frog-march, had to kneel from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and was subjected to beatings and threats, his lawyers said Wednesday.
