Bueckers is just a little less than two weeks into the start of her first WNBA training camp and preseason, and has focused on building up chemistry with a mostly new Wings roster and staff. There’s not much time, though, with the season set to open on May 16, when Dallas plays West champs Minnesota at home to open the season.

In her first preseason game against the Las Vegas Aces, Bueckers scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including two three-pointers, in 23 minutes. She also grabbed four rebounds. The Wings got routed by the Aces, 112-78.

The Huskies star has been going back and forth between Connecticut and New York doing talk show appearances, WNBA rookie orientation and finally a parade to celebrate UConn's title.
