The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking for a win in Game 3 of their 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Florida Panthers. They have been led in recent games by William Nylander. The star forward entered Game 3 with five goals in his last three games.

William Nylander scored twice in the first period before adding an assist as Toronto built a big lead before holding on to beat the Florida Panthers 5-4 in the opener of the second-round series.

Nylander has become the first Leaf since Gary Roberts in 2002 to score six goals and record 13 points in one postseason. The only other Leaf to hit those marks in one playoffs in the last 30 years is Mats Sundin, who did it twice.
