DHS Secretary Kristi Noem dismisses House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ warning over possible arrests of Democratic lawmakers after ICE protest clash in New Jersey.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said House Democrats could be arrested after a Friday visit to Delaney Hall, a New Jersey detention center for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told CNN’s Victor Blackwell Saturday that the Trump administration could arrest House Democrats who participated in a protest outside an ICE detention center in New Jersey, something that “put law enforcement at risk and this actually put the detainees as well at risk.”
