During the first showdown in Week 11, Green Bay blocked a would-be Bears game-winning field goal as time expired and came out on top 20-19. GREEN BAY – The Packers' annual trip to Soldier Field in Chicago to battle the NFC North rival Bears will take place Saturday, Dec. 20, at either 3:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. CT.

There's now a lot of hope surrounding the team and on Monday, the NFL announced that the Bears would be taking on the Green Bay Packers for a Week 16 matchup on Dec. 20. Of course, the two teams are a part of the biggest rivalry in NFL history, and the Bears quickly reacted to the news, saying "Week 16 at our place," via a social media post.

The Detroit rivalry is obviously intensified with Ben Johnson coming to coach in Chicago but a massive loss of coaching staff members could also hurt the Lions.

In 2024, the Chicago Bears ... great for the rivalry, which has been a one-sided beatdown for far too long, if Green Bay lost two consecutive home games and both were to the Bears.
